Prohibition zine

Featuring custom typography, original illustrations, and witty copy, this project summarizes the dry time in American history; Prohibition. These illustrations highlight the events of this time period as a “cocktail of law and disorder.”

From emails to website assets, this 360 creative approach allowed me to work across a variety of mediums while cross-collaborating with the marketing, digital, and design departments.

This initiative produced eye-catching design choices to feature the bold product while representing the brand in a new and unique way.

This project allowed me to gain experience in large-scale collaborations and allowed for an invigorating customer experience. The fun, colorful nature of this project balanced nicely with simple, yet stylized design choices. Introducing Disney’s Moana to new customers required understand of each character and developing the customer’s relationship to the product.

I led this 360 creative approach with Hawaiian Airlines that allowed me to work across a variety of mediums and collaborate with the marketing, brand, visual merchandising, and design teams of both companies. The story-telling element was key when building the customer connection to this iconic brand, and I loved working with their retro design style. We explored many different ways to keep creative engaging while remaining clean and on-brand with the Hawaiian Airlines style. Overall, traffic from this launch was record-breaking and led to many more future collaborations with the brand.
